The West Hempstead Water District takes proactive steps and measures to continually safeguard our community’s water supply.
The Board of Water Commissioners would like to thank our residents for your assistance as we successfully completed taking full inventory of all water service line material throughout the District.
It was a monumental task for all water service providers across the nation to comply with the US Environmental Protection Agency’s Lead and Copper Rule Revision as surveys were required to be completed and reported to the federal agency by October 15, 2024.
